Fleet during war: USPA ordered another boat as part of the modernization program
The Sea Ports Authority of Ukraine has expanded its pilotage service with another contract for the construction of a boat.
The Delta-Pilot branch of the State Enterprise “USPA” has signed another contract for the construction of a new pilot boat within the framework of the approved modernization program. This was reported by the USPA press service.
The new vessel will be the fourth that the USPA has attracted to the fleet since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
“Ordering a new domestically produced boat is not only a strengthening of the fleet’s operational capabilities, but also a contribution to supporting Ukrainian industry and jobs under martial law,” the USPA emphasized.
Since the start of the Great War, the USPA has already commissioned three new vessels, and the fourth will be an important reinforcement in the area of responsibility of “Delta-Pilot”.
The Administration emphasizes that the purchases are carried out in accordance with current legislation, and the implementation of contracts involving Ukrainian capacities is one of the priorities of the state maritime policy in wartime. Recently, USM reported that the USPA branch ordered a pilot boat for over 130 million UAH.
