Flour exports from Ukraine may decrease by 2.6% this season


In the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine may export 2.6% less wheat flour than in the previous season.

This is reported by APK-Inform.

According to analysts’ forecasts, in the current season, Ukraine may export 65 thousand tons of wheat flour – this is 2.6% less than exports in the previous season (67 thousand tons).

In the seven months of the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine shipped 37.5 thousand tons of flour to foreign markets – 7% less than in the same period of the 2024/25 MY. In particular, in January, Ukraine exported 4.3 thousand tons (which is 23% less than in January 2025).

The main importers of Ukrainian flour in the current season remain Moldova (30%), Palestine (20%) and the Czech Republic (16%). The volume of shipments decreased compared to the previous season. Thus, in July-January, 11.4 thousand tons of flour were exported to Moldova (-8%), to Palestine – 7.3 thousand tons (-10%), and to the Czech Republic – 5.9 thousand tons.

Analysts lowered export estimates due to the expected decrease in flour production in Ukraine. In July-January 2025/26 MY Ukraine produced 510.5 thousand tons of flour – 10% less than in the same period of 2024/25 MY.

Earlier, USM reported that the price of export wheat from Ukraine is increasing for the first time in several months.
