Foreign ship detained in Ukraine handed over to ARMA

The court granted the prosecutor’s request to transfer a foreign vessel to the ARMA.

This is a vessel that was previously detained in the waters of the Danube River, the prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol reports.

The vessel will be transferred to the ARMA for foreign vessel management in order to take measures for its further implementation.

“In April 2025, a foreign vessel was detained in the internal waters of Ukraine, which illegally exported more than 4.6 thousand tons of wheat from the Sevastopol sea commercial port closed by Ukraine,” the prosecutor’s office recalled.

As USM previously reported, the ship’s captain was later informed of the suspicion. He faces up to five years in prison.
