Four tankers are stuck in the Sea of Azov due to restrictions related to the Crimean bridge

Four LPG tankers have not been able to leave the Sea of Azov for several months. The situation is associated with restrictions on passage under the Crimean Bridge.

All stranded vessels fly foreign flags. As Reuters reports, the three tankers Summer, Gas Houston and Premier loaded at the terminal in the russian port of Temryuk at the end of December and have not been able to leave the Sea of Azov since then. There are 8,700 tons of autogas on board the vessels that are anchored near the Kerch Strait.

According to the Vesselfinder navigation portal, the same situation exists with the Ada tanker.

One of the traders told Reuters that the gas could be included in the list of dangerous goods that are prohibited to be transported under the Crimean bridge.
