France is strengthening cooperation with Ukraine in the maritime sphere. In particular, the partners plan to help with the development of ports in the Odesa region.
A French delegation led by Renaud Muselier, president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region paid an official visit to Odesa port. During the briefing, the government official announced assistance in the development of ports in Odesa.
In the initial release, it was reported that, among other things, France plans to exchange specialists and share experience in the processing of agricultural raw materials. Ukrainian partners also have proposals for the renovation of docks in ports.
There are two floating docks in the Odesa port – on the territory of the “Ukraine” shipyard. The docks have a lifting capacity of 10,000 tons and 6,000 tons, respectively. However, it is not yet known what made our partners interested in them.
