Over the last week, freight rates from the ports of the Azov-Black Sea region continued to fall.
Thus, the freight rates from the Black Sea ports by firecrackers decreased to $33.9/ton. This is reported by analysts of the International Seaborne Market. Rates for “Panamax” shipments fell to $26.32/ton.
The freight rates of “handy sizes” and “supramaxes” remained at the level of $31.71/ton.
In general, freight rates in the Sea of Azov fell to $50.66/ton.
The cost of sending 5-6 thousand tons of wheat or corn from Reni to Beirut (Lebanon) or Mersin (Turkey) decreased to $53.5/ton.
The cost of sending 60-70 thousand tons of corn from the ports of Great Odesa to China reaches $59.5/ton.
The cost of sending 25-30 thousand tons of wheat or corn from the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk to the Eastern Mediterranean remained at the previous level — $36/ton.
