Freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region fell even lower


Over the last week, freight rates from the ports of the Azov-Black Sea region continued to fall.

The cost of sending 5-6 thousand tons of wheat or corn from Reni to Beirut (Lebanon) or Mersin (Turkey) decreased to $53.5/ton.

The cost of sending 60-70 thousand tons of corn from the ports of Great Odesa to China reaches $59.5/ton.

The cost of sending 25-30 thousand tons of wheat or corn from the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk to the Eastern Mediterranean remained at the previous level — $36/ton.
