GOL and Timac Agro will build a logistics hub for storing mineral fertilizers in the Odesa region

Global Ocean Link and Timac Agro Ukraine will build a specialized frame complex for processing, packaging and storage of mineral fertilizers of various types.
The area of the complex will be 6,000 m², and its simultaneous capacity will be up to 30 thousand tons of bulk products, the GOL press service said.
The first stage involves the reception, packaging and logistical processing of fertilizers, and in the future – expansion to a full-fledged production site.
The partners plan to reach an annual volume of 100 thousand tons over the next three years. Construction is scheduled for completion in May 2026, and the contract between the companies has been signed for a period of five years.
The facility will be located 20 km from Odessa, near the Kyiv highway – in a logistics zone with access to major seaports (Odesa, Chornomorsk, Pivdennyi). Such a location will provide operational flexibility, minimal transportation costs and reduced military risks.
For GOL, this is the first project of this scale in the BTS segment with significant upfront financing, which opens up new opportunities for integrating international experience into the domestic economy.
In the mineral fertilizer segment, BTS allows customers to obtain optimized infrastructure for import, transshipment, storage and packaging, as well as guaranteed access to capacities during seasonal peaks.
The main promising areas of the complex’s work:
• import and transit of fertilizers by sea, rail and road;
• transshipment in bulk and containers (big bags 500–1200 kg, hoppers, gondolas);
• mixing (bulk blending) of granular fertilizers;
• storage with guaranteed quotas and stable service during peak periods.
Earlier, USM reported that GOL is adding a pharmaceutical direction to logistics solutions.
