Grain export: the signing of the agreement between Ukraine and Poland was postponed
The signing of the agreement with Poland on the export of Ukrainian grain has been postponed until next Monday.
The signing of the Polish-Ukrainian grain export agreement was originally scheduled for Friday, April 14. Currently, the event has been postponed to next Monday, the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland reports on Twitter.
“It is necessary to clarify some provisions. Today, Polish Minister of Agriculture Robert Telus will discuss this issue online with Minister Mykola Solskyi,” the ministry said.
An online meeting with the ministers of agriculture of countries bordering Ukraine is scheduled to take place today.
“I will persuade all ministers that we all come together to the EU for a significant revision of their draft tariffs,” Telus emphasized.
It is about the fact that Ukrainian grain “spilled” all over Europe, and not concentrated only in neighboring countries.
Also on Tuesday, April 11, the Minister of Agriculture, Robert Telus, after a meeting with farmers, promised to apply to the European Commission with a request to introduce duties on the import of Ukrainian grain.
As previously reported by USM, last week Poland and Ukraine agreed to temporarily suspend imports of Ukrainian wheat, rapeseed, corn and sunflower.
