Handed over watercraft to the occupiers: the deputy director of the Nizhnyodniprovskyi National park was informed about the suspicion

The deputy director of the Nizhnyodniprovskyi National Nature Park was informed in absentia of suspicion of treason.

According to the investigation, the civil servant during the occupation of Kherson went over to the side of the enemy. The suspect handed the National Park watercraft over to the occupiers. In the future, the russians used them to patrol the Dnieper water area and control road and railway bridges. This was reported in the General Prosecutor’s Office.

Also, the collaborator tried to create an illegal body of executive power in the temporarily occupied territory – the so-called “Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Kherson Region”. Expecting to lead it, the suspect was preparing a regulatory framework according to the legislation of russian federation and developing the staff structure of the pseudo-organization.

The traitor faces up to 15 years in prison. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the State Bureau of Investigation.
