Humenyuk: Russian ships have reduced activity in the Black Sea
Ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation have weakened their presence in the Black Sea. At the same time, the enemy can accumulate missile potential.
The aggressor country reduced the activity of ships in the Black Sea. Despite the fact that the Ukrainian military is currently not observing enemy missile carriers on combat duty, the Russians can accumulate forces before the onset of frost. This was announced by the spokeswoman of OC “Pivden” Nataliya Gumenyuk on the air of the “Edyni Novyny” telethon.
“Last December, they were a little more active in the sea. But they can simply accumulate this potential and use them (ed. note: missiles) even from the distance at which they are now pushed back. Because missiles of the Kalibr type can be launched from a sea base at a distance of up to 2.5 thousand kilometers,” Humenyuk noted.
The spokeswoman emphasized that Russian ships are equipped and can use missiles while at the base points. It is likely that the occupiers are expecting more frost.
Currently, the occupiers have one ship each in the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, none of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles.
