IMK Agroholding will not sell its stake to Kernel: the deal was to be reviewed by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU).


IMK Agroholding will not sell Kernel a controlling stake in the company.

This was reported by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IMC Alex Lissitsa to Forbes Ukraine.

The Antimonopoly Committee was to consider today, May 15, an application regarding the purchase of Andriy Verevsky’s agroholding by Kernel from IMC Agroholding. The publication refers to the agenda of the AMCU, as well as two interlocutors associated with both companies.

The Committee was to consider an application dated March 31, 2025, regarding the granting of permission to Kernel to acquire control over IMC together with Agrovale Limited.

Earlier, USM reported that Kernel had reduced sunflower processing and oil sales.
