In 11 days, only six ships left the ports of Ukraine
Russia continues to block the Grain Agreement. Since the beginning of July, six ships with 215,000 tons of agricultural products left the Black Sea ports.
Currently, 85,000 tons of grain for Egypt are being loaded at the port of Odesa. These are the last two bulkers that were waiting to be loaded, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure.
There is also no fleet for loading in the port of Chornomorsk. Last week, the last ships with agricultural products were sent to China and Tunisia.
“The Southern port has been closed for more than 2 months, because the Russians are “crossing out” all ships heading to it. “Since June 26, the Russians refuse to carry out inspections of ships heading to Ukrainian ports for loading,” the message reads.
From June 1 to July 10, out of the planned 150 inspections of vessels (both inbound and outbound), only 70 inspections took place due to the refusal of the Russians to carry out inspections.
The next inspection is scheduled for July 14. Now only the incoming fleet remains in the inspection zone.

Since August 1, 2022, more than 33 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products have been exported to 45 countries around the world.
Currently, 29 ships are blocked in the waters of Turkey, which should have delivered more than 1.4 million tons of agricultural products to the countries of Asia and Africa.
The ministry emphasized that the “grain corridor” has not been working for the past few months, and a complete stoppage of exports by sea will lead to an increase in food prices and deepen the crisis in countries suffering from hunger.
As previously reported by USM, Turkey is working to extend the Grain Agreement and is making every effort to extend its validity by two years.
