In April, UZ transported 1.9 million tons of grain to the ports of Ukraine

In total, more than 2 million tons of grain were transported by railway transport in the 24 days of April.
Compared to the same period in 2023, there is an increase of 32.9% (590 thousand tons), writes Rail.insider.
Thus, since the beginning of April, 2 million 383 thousand 600 tons of grain have been loaded on the railway network of Ukraine. The share of grain in the total load is 21.6%.
Also, during the month, 2 million 204 thousand 100 tons of grain were transported by railway in the export connection. In the direction of ports, 1 million 902 thousand 800 tons or 86.3%.
301 thousand 300 tons were transported through the western border crossings. The share is 13.7%.
As previously reported by USM, in the current season Ukraine exported almost 40 million tons of grain.
