In December, 2.5 million tons of agricultural products were exported from the ports of Ukraine
In the first half of December, Ukraine increased agricultural exports by 800,000 tons, compared to the same period in November.
“In 18 days of December, 3.6 million tons of agricultural products and their processing left Ukraine, which is 800,000 tons more than in the first half of November,” the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
During this period, the most exported corn was 1.6 million tons, which is almost twice as much as in the first two weeks of November. Exports of wheat amounted to 815,000 tons and almost did not change compared to November.
Sunflower oil was exported 4 thousand tons less than in November. At the same time, the export of sunflower seeds amounted to 230,000 tons (44,000 tons more).
For the third month in a row, the increase in the export of soybeans is recorded. In particular, 238,000 tons were shipped abroad in December, while only 199,000 tons were shipped in two weeks of November.
The export of rapeseed increased to 194,000 tons against 183,000 tons in the first half of November.
The export of meal in the first 18 days of December amounted to 146 thousand tons (by 27 thousand tons less than in the first 15 days of November). The export of barley decreased by 68.1 thousand tons — to 97.9 thousand tons. The volume of soybean oil deliveries did not change and amounted to 9.9 thousand tons.
In the first half of December, 2.5 million tons of products were exported through sea and river ports of Ukraine, 706.6 thousand tons by rail, 357.9 thousand tons by road transport, and 25 thousand tons by ferry.
