In December, grain exports skewed towards corn

In December last year, 75% of agricultural product shipments were corn, while wheat fell by almost 50%.

Ukraine exported 3 million tons of grain for $643 million in December 2025. This is reported by Latifundist.

The total volumes have hardly changed compared to November, but the structure of supplies has noticeably shifted. Corn retained its dominance and amounted to 2.25 million tons for $476 million (+22.3% m/m in tonnage and +23.8% in value). The share of the crop in total exports increased to 75%. The average income per ton is about $212.

Wheat, on the contrary, fell: 586.3 thousand tons for $130.2 million, which is 45.5% less in physical volumes and 44.6% in monetary terms compared to November. Its share decreased to ~19.5%. The average income was about $222/t.

Barley also added significantly. Exports increased by 86.0% – to 145.4 thousand tons (about 4.8% in the structure). Oats also grew strongly from a lower base: 5.5 times in tonnage – to 10.3 thousand tons (about 0.3% of the total).
