In flippers and a wetsuit: the SBU detained a Russian agent


Ukrainian special services arrested a collaborator who tried to cross the river to Transnistria.

The SBU prevented the escape from Ukraine of a Russian agent who was collecting intelligence on the Defense Forces on the Eastern Front. This was reported in the press service of the department.

After completing the enemy task in Donetsk region, the attacker left for Vinnytsia region. There, the man tried to escape to unrecognized Transnistria. Law enforcement officers detained the suspect when he was preparing to cross the border river using a wetsuit and flippers.

It is reported that the detainee turned out to be a resident of Dnipropetrovsk region. A man in the middle of the “zeros” studied in Moscow, where he came into the field of view of the Russian special services. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man mobilized to one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “bleached” the positions of the Ukrainian military to the invaders.

The man was informed of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code: treason committed under martial law and desertion. He faces life imprisonment.

Earlier, the SBU detained a Russian agent who was spying on the ships of the Armed Forces.
