In January, Ukraine exported over 3 million tons of grain

In total, since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year, the total export of grains and legumes is 18.71 million tons.
In January 2026, 3.18 million tons of grains and legumes were shipped from Ukraine, of which 2.66 million tons (83.6%) were provided by corn. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture with reference to the State Customs Service.
Since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year, the total export of grains and legumes is 18.71 million tons. Seasonal results as of January 30: wheat — 8.45 million tons (by 2.29 million tons, or 21.3% less than last year); corn — 8.62 million tons (–3.66 million tons; –29.8%); barley — 1.32 million tons (–729 thousand tons; –35.3%).
Rye exports remain minimal — 0.2 thousand tons since the beginning of the season (–98.1% y/y), there were no deliveries in January. Flour exports — 35.3 thousand tons (–5 thousand tons; –11.5% y/y). Meanwhile, as USM recently wrote, wheat deliveries to Ukrainian ports are being delayed due to frost.
