In Odesa Region the movement of trucks was banned during the day on all roads
In Odesa and the region, trucks were prohibited from driving on all roads during the day – from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The ban applies to vehicles weighing more than 24 tons and with an axle load of 7 tons, Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said.
According to him, the accumulation of trucks on the roads hinders the movement of special vehicles, which is unacceptable in wartime conditions.
“Simply speaking, the “detour” will not work now either. Congestion of trucks on the roads also hinders the movement of special vehicles, which is unacceptable in wartime conditions,” said Kiper.
The regional administration appeals to enterprises and drivers with a request to calculate their working hours and logistics in such a way that trucks do not accumulate on the roadsides and do not interfere with local residents and special vehicles moving on highways.
Enterprises engaged in the transportation of grain, oil and other cargoes can contact the Odesa Regional State (Military) Administration for consultation and further obtaining passes during the curfew.
