In Odesa, the traitor tried to detect warships with air defense

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a traitor who was preparing a missile attack on Odesa “bypassing” air defense.

The counter-intelligence of the Security Service detained a Russian agent who was preparing a new Russian air attack on the civilian infrastructure of Odessa, the SBU reported.

In order to “bypass” Ukrainian air defense during the attack, the invaders tasked their henchmen to identify the locations of anti-aircraft systems in the territory of the regional center.

First of all, the aggressor was interested in the possible coordinates of anti-aircraft missile installations on the coastal territory of the city.

The invaders also tried to find out about the presence of military ships equipped with anti-aircraft defense in local ports.

The invaders planned to “take into account” the received information in the course of preparing new attacks on the city, including with the use of cruise missiles and kamikaze drones of the Shahed type. The SBU timely exposed the enemy’s plans and prevented their implementation.

Before the arrest of the Russian agent, all her criminal activities were documented step by step from the “first steps” of intelligence activity. This made it possible to inform the command of the Defense Forces in advance about the new threat of airstrikes and to prepare for defense.

So far, the investigators of the Security Service have informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law). The perpetrator is in custody. She faces life in prison.

Earlier, USM reported that the Security Service of Ukraine demonstrated the testing of the first drone Sea Baby from those donated by Ukrainians.

We will remind that it was with the help of naval drones that the SBU blew up the Crimean bridge and hit a total of 11 Russian warships.
