In Russia, two ferries collided and were damaged

On the Lena River in Russia, two ferries were damaged in a collision.

The vessels “Ferry – 5” and “Capitan Leontyev” collided on June 12 during the transition from the city of Yakutsk to the village of Nizhniy Bestyakh on the Lena River, reports rosZMI.

According to preliminary information, due to the strengthening of the wind on the approach to the Nizhniy Bestyakh ferry crossing, during the passage of a wave, both vessels suffered damage to their equipment.

Passengers and vehicles were brought to the village. There are no casualties. At this time, an investigative team is working at the scene.

USM previously reported that the Russian anti-submarine ship “Admiral Levchenko” caught fire in the Barents Sea.
