This year, the country’s Ministry of Infrastructure will announce a tender for reconstruction works, and the cost of the project is estimated at 36 million euros.

In addition, the minister added that the project will be financed from the state budget. It is expected that the overhaul will increase the cargo turnover of the port from the current 1.5 million tons to almost 3.5 million tons per year.

The project involves the reconstruction of closed warehouses and the construction of administrative buildings, which will house the port captain’s office, customs and other state bodies necessary for the functioning of the port.
