In the current season, Ukraine exported almost 40 million tons of grain

З Since the beginning of 2023/2024 MR, the export of Ukrainian grain has practically reached 40 million tons.
As of Wednesday, April 24, Ukraine has exported 39.914 million tons of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of the season. Of these, 4.863 million tons were shipped in April, APC-Inform writes.
As of the same date last year, the total figure of shipments was 40.742 million tons, in particular in April – 2.766 million tons.
In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following have been exported:
• wheat – 15.252 million tons (in 2022/23 MR – 13.941 million tons);
• barley – 2.17 million tons (2.428 million tons);
• rye – 1.2 thousand tons (17.8 thousand tons);
• corn – 22.016 million tons (24.049 million tons).
As previously reported by USM, in the 15 days of April, the total export from Ukraine by water transport amounted to 3.5 million tons.
