In the port of Mariupol, Ukrainian metal is being stolen again

For the first time this year, a ship left the temporarily captured Mariupol with Ukrainian metal, not grain, looted by the invaders.

“Piracy continues. Yesterday, a vessel of the RS3 class (river-sea) loaded with fittings left Mariupol. Armature, which was manufactured by “Donetsk People’s Republic metallurgy” for a year. I think that before the war, the metallurgy of the Donetsk region produced 3.5 thousand tons in one shift, and here it is the whole year. The first ship this year that was lucky was not a grain,” said Petro Andryushchenko , adviser to the Mariupol city mayor.

He noted that the invaders, strangely enough, painted over the name of the vessel, although according to observation and traffic analysis, “it is the same Mezhdurechensk.”

In addition, there is a second ship in the port, it has been standing for more than two weeks, deliberately hidden on the berth behind the elevator, which makes it impossible to identify it from the outside.

“It is impossible to get to the territory of its berth. Does not transmit data. The class is definitely bigger than PM3. We are still trying to find out what it is and why,” Andryushchenko added.

At the same time, he noted that no military-logistical use of this vessel has yet been recorded.

As Andryushchenko also added, after the RS3 vessel with the painted name left the port, another vessel began to be loaded. An unknown boat was also moored on the side of its bow.

“Similar to a raid or mooring boat, but possibly military. According to the observation, grain is being loaded onto the ship due to the truck traffic in the port. Taking into account the growth of shipping, we can conclude that at this stage the Russians managed to activate the work of the port infrastructure. But it is still at an insufficient level for military logistics,” Andryushchenko added.

It will be recalled that earlier the Russian ship “Mezhdurechensk” entered the port of Mariupol at the end of June this year, brought concrete fortifications for fortifications and was loaded with grain.
