In the ports of Great Odesa, due to alarms, the ship can be loaded for three days
Despite the stable operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, ships are loaded for three to five days.
Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, told about this in an interview with “Censor”.
According to him, the sea corridor from the ports of Odesa currently operates around the clock. The ships are accompanied by the military, there are days when 40-50 ships go in the caravan.
“Unfortunately, a significant part of the port infrastructure in the ports of Odesa region is broken. Now it is impossible to accumulate 20-50 thousand tons of grain in the warehouse to load the ship when it arrived at the port. Everything works from under the wheels, on the move, under fire, under alarms. The ship is loaded not for a day, but for three to five,” said the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration.
As previously reported by USM, Ukrainian ports processed almost 10 million tons of cargo in April. The largest specific weight in April was the processing of grain cargo — 6.3 million tons (against 3.9 million tons in 2023).
