In Turkey, the second Ada corvette was laid down for the Navy

A ceremony was held in Turkey to lay down the second Ada-type ship for the needs of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The ceremony was attended, in particular, by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Vice-Admiral Andriy Tarasov, as part of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, headed by Deputy Minister of Defense Volodymyr Gavrylov, the Navy said.

Celebrations on the occasion of the laying of the keel of the Ada type ship were held at one of the shipbuilding enterprises in Istanbul.

According to existing agreements, this is already the second corvette that Turkey is building for the needs of the Navy of Ukraine.

All the works are carried out on time, in accordance with the schedules and signed contracts, the department noted.
