In two months, the port of Izmail handled 1.377 million tons of cargo

From April 1 to May 29, SE “Izmail Sea Trade Port” transshipped 1.377 million tons of cargo and exceeded the plan for the second quarter.

The planned indicator for the second quarter of 2023 was 1.342 million tons, the company’s press service noted .

“We congratulate the entire team of the enterprise and express our sincere gratitude for their dedicated and coordinated work. We are grateful to the Defense Forces of Ukraine, who give us the opportunity to work and contribute to Victory, which is closer every day,” the press service said.

It was previously reported that on May 17, the state stevedore fulfilled the half-year plan for cargo transportation, processing 2.874 million tons of cargo. In general, for 2023, the cargo turnover plan is 5.303 million tons.
