In Ukraine, a confiscated Belarusian ship was sold at an auction
The ship “Nadezhda”, which previously belonged to Belarus and was confiscated in 2022, was sold for UAH 4.26 million.
The auction took place through the Seized Property Electronic Bidding System (SЕТАМ).
According to the results of the online auction, which took place on April 10, the right to 79.6% of the Nadezhda dry cargo ship, built in 2002, was won by Odesa Newenergy LLC. The company offered UAH 4.26 million for the lot, beating two other bidders. The company has until April 20 to pay the funds.
According to the analytical service YouControl, “Newenergy” LLC was founded on April 4, 2007. The authorized capital of the company is UAH 1 million 231.5 thousand. The main activity of the company is auxiliary water transport service. The ultimate beneficiary is Olga Zemel.
We will remind you that in April 2022, the SBI discovered the “Nadezhda” ship and another dry cargo in the waters of the Izmail port. The vessels were involved in logistics operations on the Danube in the interests of the Russian Federation. Subsequently, they were handed over to the USPA, documents regarding the possibility of their nationalization were handed over to Odesa Regional Military Administratio.
