Italian ports can become a logistics and port platform for Ukraine
In Italy, they are working on the creation of a port logistics corridor between Ukraine and northern Italian cities.
“There is a part of Ukraine that was not occupied and must continue production. We are working on the creation of infrastructure, a railway and port logistics corridor,” said the Minister of Entrepreneurship and National Production of Italy, Adolfo Urso, on Rai Radio1.
According to him, this corridor will enable the ports of Trieste and Venice to become a logistics and port platform of Ukraine.
“We are a great partner of Kyiv, we have always been one, and we have an economy that is fully compatible with the economy of Ukraine. In agreements and memorandums, we have identified very innovative sectors such as aerospace or mining. Ukraine was a large granary, and Italy is the main exporter of agricultural machinery,” the minister explained.
