Italy, Turkey and Korea became the main buyers of Ukrainian corn

Ukrainian agricultural products continue to hold positions in key markets in Europe and Asia.
In October 2025, Ukraine exported 941 thousand tons of corn, of which more than half (52.2%) were sent to EU countries. Another 31.9% of exports went to Asian countries, and 15.9% to African markets, writes Latifundist.
The largest importer was Italy, which purchased 263.1 thousand tons of Ukrainian corn — more than a quarter of total exports for the month. Turkey took second place with a volume of 168.8 thousand tons, and Korea — third with 102.6 thousand tons.
The top ten also included the Netherlands, Tunisia, Libya, Greece, Spain, Cyprus and Egypt. The highest average price per ton was paid by Greece — $218.9. The lowest was recorded in the Netherlands — $200.2.
In general, the average price of Ukrainian corn on foreign markets in October fluctuated within $200–219 per ton, depending on the importing country.
As USM reported, the Syrian port of Latakia received a shipment of Ukrainian wheat the day before.
