Izmail Port Discusses Cooperation and Increase in Cargo Turnover with Turkey

The delegation of the Izmail seaport attended the consular reception of the Republic of Turkey.

On the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey, the delegation of the Izmail seaport attended the consular reception and congratulated the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Odesa, Muhittin Çelik.
“During the meeting, wishes for peace, prosperity and further strengthening of friendly relations between Ukraine and Turkey were expressed, and it was also emphasized that the Izmail seaport is always open to developing partnership and increasing cargo turnover between the countries,” the Izmail port noted.
As previously reported by USM, the work of ports on the Danube was discussed in Izmail. Special attention was paid to the prospects for increasing transshipment in Danube ports and the development of port infrastructure.
