Japan introduced sanctions against the shipbuilding industry of the Russian Federation


Japan imposed sanctions against another 57 organizations and 35 individuals from Russia.

JSC “Skhidna Verf” (PJSC “Amur Shipbuilding Plant”) was included in the list, as well as JSC “Corporation of Marine Instrumentation”, JSC “SPO “Arktika”, JSC “NDI Hydrocommunications “Shtil”, Zelenodol Plant named after O.M. Gorky

The list published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan also includes Deputy Minister of Defense Tetyana Shevtsova, Ombudsman Tetyana Moskalkova, Children’s Ombudsman of the Moscow Region Ksenia Mishonova and thirty more Russian civilian and military figures, as well as 43 research and production companies of the Russian military industry.

In addition, Japan imposed sanctions against 16 persons involved in the annexation of Crimea and the outbreak of the war. Yes, two people involved in the case of the downed Malaysian Boeing just now came under Japanese sanctions.
