Kernel founder made it to the list of the richest people on the planet


The owner of the Kernel agroholding Andriy Verevskyi has entered the list of the richest people in the world according to the American Forbes.

On Tuesday, March 10, the American Forbes magazine published its annual ranking of the richest people in the world.

Among more than three thousand billionaires from around the world, the list includes seven Ukrainians with a combined fortune of almost $18 billion. Among them is the chairman of the board of directors and the main shareholder of the Kernel agroholding Andriy Verevsky with a fortune of $1.2 billion. In the overall ranking, he took 3017th place.

The richest Ukrainian in the ranking is Rinat Akhmetov (77th place, $7.8 billion). The second place among Ukrainians is occupied by Viktor Pinchuk (1504th in the world, $2.8 billion) – the founder of Interpipe and the owner of the Starlight Media media group. Third place is taken by Vlad Yatsenko (1913th place, $2.2 billion), co-founder and CTO of the British neobank Revolut.

Fourth place is taken by the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko (2600th place in the world, $1.5 billion).
