Kernel is completing the construction of an oil extraction plant

Kernel Agroholding has 85% completed the construction of the Starokostyantynivskyi Oil Extraction Plant. Commissioning works are planned to be completed in early 2023.
The total amount of investments aimed at the implementation of the project has already reached more than 200 million dollars, the press service of the company reports .
“The annual capacity of the plant in Starokostyantinov is 1 million tons of sunflower seeds. The launch of an enterprise of this scale will contribute to the resolution of issues with excess raw materials in the region and increase the intensity of competition on the market,” said Yevhen Osypov, CEO of Kernel.
Osypov also noted that in this way, Ukraine will receive an additional point of support in the form of creating new jobs and “systematically filling the budgets of all levels with taxes.”
It is noted that the construction of the Starokostyantyniv SEZ began in April 2019.
