“Kernel” submitted an application for the withdrawal of shares from the Warsaw Stock Exchange
Agroholding “Kernel” submitted an application for delisting from trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The company submitted an application for delisting to the Financial Supervision Authority of Poland, Kernel reported to the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
“The application was submitted in accordance with the decision of the company’s board dated April 13, 2023 to exclude the company’s shares from trading on the regulated market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange,” the company said.
“Kernel” added that the application concerns all the company’s shares admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, i.e. more than 84 million ordinary bearer shares.
We will remind you that the Namsen Limited company of the founder of “Kernel” Andriy Verevsky bought 36% of the shares of the agricultural holding.
Previously, Namsen Limited owned 38.05% of Kernel shares. After the end of the tender, Verevsky actually owns 74% of the agricultural producer’s shares. A tender was announced for the purchase of 62% of the shares. However, Namsen Limited bought back 30.248 million shares out of the declared 52.57 million.
At the end of March, Andrii Verevskyi started buying up Kernel shares. His company Namsen Limited announced a tender for the purchase of 62% of the shares of the Kernel agricultural holding, which did not yet belong to it.
Owners of 22% of Kernel shares, 15 minority financial investors, did not support the delisting of Kernel from the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Minorities, among whom are mainly pension funds, declare that they will resort to all factual and legal actions, including those of a corporate nature, to protect their rights.
