“Konotop Witch”: the new MAGURA V7 marine drone entered service with the Defense Intelligence

The Defense Intelligence unit of the Ministry of Defense Group 13 has replenished its fleet with a new MAGURA V7 sea drone.
The newest MAGURA V7 sea drone with the symbolic name “Konotop Witch” was transferred to the Defense Intelligence unit of the Ministry of Defense Group 13. This was reported in the press service of the department.
“We are grateful to everyone who joined this cause. Soon our “Konotop Witch” will terrify Russian sailors and pilots,” said the representative of Group 13 with the call sign “Xena”.
The unmanned platform was purchased thanks to the joint initiative of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater, Teatr.org.ua, the Diana Podolyanchuk Charitable Foundation and the GUR of the Ministry of Defense. In a few months, Ukrainians raised 8 million hryvnias for the drone.
“When culture and the army unite, the enemy has no chance. And this is not just cooperation, it is a joint, fierce struggle for the freedom and future of Ukraine,” emphasized the director of the Franko Theater Yevhen Nyshchuk.
MAGURA V7 is a modern multifunctional naval strike platform. The drone is capable of carrying missile weapons and has already proven its effectiveness during combat operations, in particular by destroying two Russian Mi-8 helicopters and two Su-30 fighters.
“This project is proof that even art can strike at the enemy if it stands in defense of the country,” added the head of the foundation Diana Podolyanchuk.
The day before, USM reported that a kamikaze drone had been thrown onto the coast of Istanbul. The find was handed over to military sappers for examination.
