Kubrakov commented on his dismissal
The Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov was dismissed from his post on Thursday, May 9.
Today, the Parliament registered a resolution on the dismissal of Oleksandr Kubrakov from the position of Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
“I am always ready for an open dialogue and a detailed report on the work of the Ministry in all areas under my responsibility,” Oleksandr Kubrakov wrote.
According to him, the leadership of the faction and the head of the government, Denys Shmyhal, did not discuss this decision with him.
He was also not invited to the meetings of the faction and the profile committee.
“Since May 2021, I have headed the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. From the first days of the war, military logistics, reconstruction of housing and municipal infrastructure were added to our responsibilities in the field of transport and mail. In December 2022, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a decision on my appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of the new, unified ministry,” the official recalled.
He also noted that with the support of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it was possible to launch a number of important initiatives and projects for the state.
“Regarding the vote for this draft resolution by the Verkhovna Rada, we have come a long way in 5 years of joint work. With the absolute majority, the path is in one direction. Everyone makes a decision according to their beliefs and is responsible for it,” Oleksandr Kubrakov emphasized in his comments.

The project was initiated by 40 deputies, among them David Arakhamiya and Maksym Buzhanskyi.
