Kubrakov spoke about the draft law on the infrastructure of Ukrainian ports


During the working meeting, the Ministry of Reconstruction and the Association of Cities of Ukraine discussed the mechanism of allocating the lands of the water fund.

On Wednesday, January 17, a working meeting of the Ministry of Reconstruction and the Association of Cities of Ukraine took place. In particular, the focus of the conversation is on initiatives for the economic recovery of the country, said the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – the Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov.

Among the main topics discussed during the meeting was the topic of port infrastructure.

According to the minister, one of the important draft laws that directly affects the economic development of Ukraine is the development of the infrastructure of sea ports through the introduction of an effective and transparent mechanism for the allocation of water fund lands.

“I am grateful to the Association for its readiness to work on a legislative initiative that will simplify investments in these territories and secure the right of communities to allocate land for the development of port infrastructure,” Oleksandr Kubrakov emphasized.
