Kuleba: The only one who can convince Putin to return to the Grain Agreement is Erdogan

The President of Turkey may be the only one who will convince Putin to resume participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The continuation of the Grain Agreement depends entirely on the negotiations between Erdogan and Putin. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Reuters.

“President Erdogan is probably the only person in the world who can convince President Putin to return to the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” Kuleba said.

The official stressed that Russia’s refusal to extend the Grain Agreement hit African countries hard. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already made three working visits to the African continent. Kuleba noted the need to strengthen economic and diplomatic ties with African states.

“Unlike the Russian Federation, we want to invest in Africa that will be beneficial for both them and us. And Russia’s largest investment in Africa is PVK “Wagner”. And this is an investment in the danger of Africa,” said the minister.
