Kuleba was appointed Minister of Infrastructure


The Verkhovna Rada appointed a new Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – the Minister of  Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

Oleksiy Kuleba became the new Minister of Infrastructure, People’s Deputy Ярослав Железняк.Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced.

Earlier on the same day, his candidacy was recommended by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning.

Oleksiy Kuleba (41 years old) – Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (since January 24, 2023). He also headed the Kyiv Regional State Administration from February 8 to March 15, 2022 and from May 21, 2022 to January 24, 2023. He was the first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration for the exercise of self-governing powers from January 1, 2021 to February 2022.

We will remind, on May 9 Oleksandr Kubrakov was dismissed from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Communites, Territories and Infrastructure Development. All this time, the department actually did not have a head. Acting the minister was Vasyl Shkurakov.

On May 17, the Government agreed to the dismissal of three deputy ministers of infrastructure.
