Maersk ceases operations with terminal in Boryspil

Maersk Ukraine is ceasing operations at the terminal in Boryspil, operated by BIT VANTAGE LLC.

Maersk noted that the decision was made for operational reasons.

Customers whose import applications have not yet arrived at the terminal, are in transit, or are only scheduled for shipment are advised to contact the company’s intermodal department for further instructions.

Maersk also apologized for the temporary inconvenience.

The company did not provide other details regarding the reasons for the termination of operations at the terminal or the future scheme for servicing imported cargo.

USM previously reported that Maersk could drop to fourth place among the largest container carriers.
