Maersk continues to sell russian assets

The sole shareholder of Maersk LLC (subsidiary of Danish Maersk) decided to liquidate the company.

“Maersk” LLC (St. Petersburg) was registered as a result of the reorganization of CJSC “Maersk” in 2014, writes Interfax-Ukraine. The company’s revenue from the RAS in 2021 amounted to 845.9 million rubles.

According to the data of EDRUO as of November 2, 100% of the authorized capital of Maersk LLC belongs to the founder – the Danish Maersk Line Agency Holding A/S (a division of Maersk from sea container transportation).

Previously, the Danish transport and logistics company A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S, against the background of the full-scale war unleashed by russian federation against Ukraine, announced in March that it would stop working in russia and informed Russian customers about the start of the company’s business activity in russian federation.

“The process of selling the remaining assets is ongoing,” Maersk said in the company’s Q3 2022 report.
