Maritime exports in 2025 exceeded exports in 2024

In 11 months of 2025, the ports of Great Odesa processed almost 68 million tons of cargo, and the ports of the Danube – over 8 million tons.
During 2025, the volume of exports equaled the cumulative figure for 2023-2024, the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reported.
Despite the systematic shelling of critical infrastructure, six seaports – Pivdennyi, Odesa, Chornomorsk, Ust-Dunaysk, Izmail and Reni – ensured the country’s exports and imports.
“The basis of water logistics in wartime was the Ukrainian sea corridor, created after the Russian Federation withdrew from the Black Sea Grain Initiative in July 2023,” the ministry recalled.
Since then, more than 160 million tons of cargo have been transported through the corridor on board more than 6 thousand vessels, of which more than 96 million tons are products of Ukrainian farmers.
In particular, in 11 months of 2025, the ports of Great Odesa processed almost 68 million tons of cargo, and the ports of the Danube – over 8 million tons.
