MHP Agroholding will purchase a shipping line


Ukrainian agricultural holding “MHP” will buy a company engaged in ship chartering and container transportation.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine granted permission to MHP agricultural holding to acquire the logistics company “KTL Ukraine”. This is reported by Latifundist with reference to the decision of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

“Permission was granted to the company “MHP SE” (Limasol, Cyprus) to purchase shares of the company “KK & Sons Group LTD” (London, United Kingdom), which ensures an excess of 50 percent of the votes in the company’s top management body,” it says in the decision.

According to YouControl data, Andrii Kuzmin, Ihor Khokhlov and Serhii Kochergin from Odesa are indicated as the final beneficiaries of the company “KK & Sons Group LTD”. In Ukraine, this company owns “KTL Ukraine”, which is engaged, in particular, in sea container transportation, cargo transshipment and ship chartering.

As USM previously wrote, the companies “MHP”, “Kernel”, “Astarta” are the largest taxpayers in the agricultural sector.
