MHP exported Ukrainian Bio-LNG to the EU for the first time: it can be used to fuel ships

MHP Agroholding has exported the first Ukrainian batch of liquefied biomethane Bio-LNG to the European Union.

The company has made the first delivery of Ukrainian liquefied biomethane (Bio-LNG) to a partner in the EU, MHP reported.

Bio-LNG is produced entirely from poultry manure and other agricultural waste. The product is certified according to the ISCC EU standard and fully meets the RED II/III sustainability criteria.

According to Adomas Auditkas, Deputy CEO of MHP Group, this fuel can already provide energy to trucks and ships throughout Europe.

Earlier, USM reported that MHP had bought two companies: one of them is engaged in container transportation.
