MHP has become the growth leader among Ukrainian agricultural companies in the last week


In general, positive dynamics prevailed in the agro-industrial sector last week.

MHP shares became the beneficiary of the week on European exchanges: quotes increased by 7.4%, raising the company’s capitalization to $775 million. This is evidenced by data from Eavex Capital, Latifundist writes.

Last week, shares of most Ukrainian agricultural companies increased in price. In addition to MHP, Kernel shares increased by 4.5% to a market value of $1.721 billion. Agroton and Milkiland rose by 1.1%, their capitalizations are $34 million and $16 million, respectively.

IMC and Astarta looked weaker: IMC quotes decreased by 2.5% (capitalization $272 million). This is the largest weekly drop among issuers, Astarta lost 1.3% (to $312 million).

According to the results of the year, IMC is in the lead with a growth of 71.9%. High annual dynamics are also demonstrated by Kernel (+61.9%), Milkiland (+59.1%), Agroton (+51.8%) and MHP (+45.4%). Astarta papers have grown by 9.9% since the beginning of the year.

Recently, USM reported that strikes on the ports of the Odesa region are slowing down shipments and increasing logistics costs for grain producers.
