Military sailors conducted training on new boats

Large-scale exercises of the forces and means of the River Flotilla of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took place on the Dnipro River and in the water areas of the Kyiv and Kaniv Reservoirs.

This is reported by the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Other units of the Defense Forces were involved in the exercises, as well as boats that have recently entered service with the flotilla.

Boats were sent to military sailors under the program of international technical assistance from foreign partners.

“Participants practiced conducting combat operations by river forces, in particular, as part of boat groups and groups of boats, interaction with units operating on the coast of rivers, delivery of personnel to designated areas of the coast, and mine countermeasures,” the message says.

Also, military sailors trained to identify and neutralize enemy sabotage and intelligence groups, worked out a number of exercises to improve the coordination of the actions of the crews.

As previously reported by the USM, well-known Ukrainian ships took part in the Sea Breeze 2024 exercises.
