Ministry of Agrarian Policy agreed with the business on the maximum volumes of grain exports

In particular, the maximum export volume of wheat and meslin in the current season was agreed at the level of 16.2 million tons.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and agricultural market participants signed an addendum to the memorandum of understanding, which agreed on the maximum grain export volume in 2024/25. Forbes writes about it.

Thus, according to the UCT code ZED 1001, the maximum export volume of wheat and meslin (a mixture of wheat and rye) in the current season was agreed at the level of 16.2 million tons. In the future, grain exports will be monitored every month and, if necessary, the export limit for January 2025 will be adjusted.

On the business side, the appendix to the memorandum was signed by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Grain Association, the European Business Association, the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Forum, and the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of Ukraine.

As USM wrote, earlier in the “Ukrainian Grain Association” they criticized the new law on price regulation for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, and gave an example of why it can work incorrectly.
