Minister of Infrastructure Kubrakov submitted his resignation
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received Oleksandr Kubrakov’s application for dismissal from the post of Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
The council received the statement on November 30. Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, reported this on Telegram.
Kubrakov’s resignation is related to the future reorganization of the structure of Ukrainian ministries. As a reminder, as part of the changes, it is planned to merge the currently existing Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, and the Government Office for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories into one department — the Ministry of Infrastructure and Territorial Development.
In addition, the minister himself commented on the news about his dismissal from his post.
“It doesn’t mean anything, we work as we have been working. Everything is fine,” Kubrakov said on the air of the national telethon.
The minister also confirmed that he continues to be a member of the Ukrainian government.
