Mobilization: Workers of the agricultural sector will be booked for a year

Employees of the Ukrainian agricultural sector will be booked from mobilization for a year.

Farmers will be booked to create conditions for safe harvesting. This was told by the acting Taras Vysotskyi, Minister of Agricultural Policy, “Suspilne”reports.

According to him, several decisions regarding mobilization were made for farmers:

• automatically extended existing reservations for three months without the need to submit any package of documents;

• further booking will be provided for 12 months (previously it was six);

• for certain professions (for example, tractor drivers, agronomists, veterinarians) it is possible to reserve the number of workers that is critically needed, while receiving approval from the military.

The minister clarified that the general rate of reservation is up to 50%, but for certain professions, you can submit a petition with justification to increase this number.

Vysotskyi also said that the number of employees in certain areas has decreased by approximately 20%. This means that the load on the rest of the employees has increased. According to the minister, engineering professions are most needed both in the agricultural sector and in the Armed Forces: tractor drivers, machinists, elevator equipment engineers.

Previously, USM reported that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft law on the concept of economic reservation of employees.

The Ukrainian Grain Association, in particular, appealed to the government to approve the economic reservation. The Association emphasized that the work of agro-industrial enterprises is impossible without the availability of qualified personnel with a narrow specialty.

It will be recalled that in May it became known that the agricultural holding “Nibulon” cannot retain all the required employees due to the imperfection of the current reservation format. In “Nibulon” they called to change the booking format, because the option with 50% no longer works.
