More than 10 million tons of goods have already been exported through the maritime corridor

In less than half a year, more than 10 million tons of goods have already been exported through the Ukrainian  maritime corridor.

The information was shared by the head of SE “USPA” Yuriy Lytvyn. Also, according to the official, more than 30 million tons of cargo were shipped from Ukrainian quays on the Danube this year — despite enemy attacks on the Danube port infrastructure.

“The decisive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the Russians in the Black Sea to switch from offensive patrols to defense. This made it possible to unblock the ports of Great Odesa and create a Ukrainian corridor for civilian vessels. In less than half a year, more than 10 million tons of goods have already been exported through this corridor,” said Lytvyn.

Lytvyn also noted that the Seaports Authority has a thorough and approved plan for the implementation of this Priority by enterprises of the maritime complex.
